Rental Equipment Rates 2008/2009
Camelback has completely redone and expanded their rental shop for the 2008-2009 season.
Both of our new rental shops are going paperless as well. We will be processing all of our rentals in the The Salomon Burton Rental Shop and New Discovery Rental Shop electronically.
You can become a Preferred Rental Guest and bypass the rental line after you have purchased your lift tickets, rentals at the ticket windows by preregistering online.
The Salomon Burton Rental Shop is now two levels, the top level (existing rental shop location) has been completely redesigned and will now house both ski and snowboard rentals. We have redesigned the shop to make it more convenient for our guests as well as speed up the process of getting through rentals. That equals getting out on the snow faster!

The lower level (previously the locker room) is our
New Discover Rental Shop—This new rental center was designed to cater to our beginner and first time skiers and snowboarders to offer them the best experience possible when they are learning to ski and ride. Along with this new Discover Rental Shop Camelback will be offering On-Demand Beginner Lessons. What's that mean, beginners and first timers will no longer have to wait for a lesson time. When they are finished in the rental shop they can go right out to the Learning Area and begin their lesson.
The Sunbowl Rental shop will be for Group Customers only this winter. All non group customers will rent at our The Salomon Burton Rental Shop or New Discovery Rental Center.
Camelback is excited to announce that we have teamed up with Salomon as our exclusive ski rental manufacturer for all our rental skis, ski boots, and poles.
Camelback has purchased more than 2,000 pairs of front-entry Salomon ski boots that include men’s, women’s, and toddler-specific sizes. Ladies, we have you covered!
We have purchased more than 675 pairs of new X-Wing 500 series skis, along with 400 pairs of Leki poles. Camelback has teamed up with Salomon for a three-year partnership, and we will continue to upgrade our entire rental fleet each season over the three years.
Camelback is also excited to be the only complete Learn To Ride resort facility in Pennsylvania, in partnership with Burton Snowboards and its Learn To Ride programs. New this winter, in addition to adults' and kids' LTR programs,
Camelback is an official Women's and Freestyle Learn To Ride facility.
To support that program, we have added 250 new Burton Snowboards, including a range of LTR boards, women's LTR boards, boots, and Stiletto bindings, as well as freestyle LTR setups.
